Burn Survivors & Their Families - Ages Infancy to 18

Hoosier Burn Camp’s Family Outings bring together families of burn survivors in a supportive and fun environment. These events, held throughout the year, offer a chance to connect with others who share similar experiences. From park adventures to holiday celebrations, each outing is designed to create joyful memories and strengthen family bonds.

Our dedicated volunteers and staff ensure that every family feels included and valued, fostering a sense of community and comfort. At Hoosier Burn Camp, we believe in the power of togetherness and provide these outings to help families heal, grow, and cherish special moments.

Some examples of those trips are the Winter Gathering in Brown County, Indiana, Louisville Kentucky, Michigan City Michigan, and our Holiday Party in Indianapolis. We have also done The Indianapolis Zoo, The Children’s Museum and much more!

Young Adult Outings

Burn Survivors - Ages 19 to 30

Hoosier Burn Camp’s Young Adult Programming is designed for burn survivors aged 19 to 30, providing a unique space for personal development, community building, and adventure. Our programs offer young adults the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities and experiences that promote growth, resilience, and connection.

Summer Camp

Burn Survivors - Ages 8-18

At Hoosier Burn Camp, our Summer Camp provides an unforgettable experience for young burn survivors. Held annually, this week-long camp is filled with exciting activities and meaningful connections in a safe, supportive environment.

Campers engage in a variety of thrilling adventures, from high ropes courses to riding on fire trucks, all designed to boost their confidence and foster camaraderie. Our camp also offers creative activities like face painting and games, ensuring that every child finds joy and discovery in their own way.

One of the highlights of the camp is Visitor's Day, where family, friends, and supporters come together to celebrate the resilience and growth of our campers. The day is filled with heartwarming moments, including activities at Lake Monroe, where teenage campers can experience the thrill of tubing, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Teen Trips

Hoosier Burn Camp’s Teen Trips offer burn survivors exciting adventures designed to build independence and confidence. Tailored for our teenage campers, these trips feature thrilling activities such as visiting Dude Ranches, white water rafting, and kayaking in lakes. Each adventure is carefully planned to encourage personal growth, teamwork, and leadership.
