sUMMER CAMP

Summer Camp is the Hoosier Burn Camp annual tradition at Camp Tecumseh. It’s a place where young burn survivors ages 8-18 can be just one of the kids.

Our volunteer staff is made up of adult burn survivors, fire service professionals, medical professionals, and many other amazing people who help campers reach their highest potential through activities that encourage perseverance, confidence, courage, and independence.

2025 SUMMER CAMP

MAY 25 - MAY 30

CAMP TECUMSEH
BROOKSTON, IN

Burn Survivors - Ages 8-18

At Hoosier Burn Camp, our Summer Camp provides an unforgettable experience for young burn survivors. Held annually, this week-long camp is filled with exciting activities and meaningful connections in a safe, supportive environment.

Campers engage in a variety of thrilling adventures, from high ropes courses to riding on fire trucks, all designed to boost their confidence and foster camaraderie. Our camp also offers creative activities like face painting and games, ensuring that every child finds joy and discovery in their own way.

One of the highlights of the camp is Visitor's Day, where family, friends, and supporters come together to celebrate the resilience and growth of our campers. The day is filled with heartwarming moments, including activities at Lake Monroe, where teenage campers can experience the thrill of tubing, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Our dedicated volunteer staff, many of whom have personal connections to the burn community, are committed to creating a nurturing environment where campers can heal, grow, and thrive. At Hoosier Burn Camp, we believe in empowering young survivors to embrace their uniqueness, build lasting friendships, and discover their inner strength.
