25th Annual Firefighters' Blues Festival Saturday

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The South Bend Firefighters Association will host the 25th Annual Firefighters' Blues Festival on Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. in Mishawaka at Kamm Island Park.

Organizers say this family-friendly event will be a day filled with blues music, delicious food, and good vibes to keeping you grooving all day long.

Admission is $15 per person. You can purchase tickets ahead of time, here, or pay at the gate the day of.

The proceeds will go toward fire safety education programs for children in Michiana.

Organizers say this includes Survive Alive Houses, modular homes retrofitted with the latest technology to demonstrate an actual house fire and other traumatic circumstances for the children, and The Hoosier Burn Camp located in Battleground, Ind., a safe place for children whose lives have forever been changed, physically and emotionally, by the tragedies of fire.

The fest is pet-friendly, and attendees may bring chairs, blankets, and tents.

Organizers add coolers or outside food or drinks are not allowed at the event.

  • 1 p.m. - Local 362 AllStars

  • 3 p.m. - Howard and The White Boys

  • 5 p.m. - Stephan Hissesheim

  • 7 p.m. - Ivy Ford

  • 9 p.m. - Albert Castiglia

Kamm Island Park is located at 600 W Front St. in Mishawaka.
